Official Documentary Blog

I was never a big fan of documentaries but this week we watched some pretty interesting documentaries.  I think the main reason i didn't like documentaries is because they were telling me stuff about stuff i can already find out, like animals and stuff.  But these documentaries explained things that id dint know where going on.  They showed stuff that i couldn't easily find out.  The first two revealed a lot to me about the government and some of the stupid shit they do.  Im not exactly sure i believe all of it, but it definitely opened my eyes.  The cartoon documentary was much more easier to comprehend and follow, where as the ones by alex jones, while much more factual, were hard to follow.
Food Inc. showed a side of our food industry that i've never seen before. Although i guessed that they didn't raise each chicken with lots of attention and care i never realized how bad it really was.  That documentary was also very eye opening.  This week i think ive learned to maybe even like documentaries and i also now have a better understanding of our government and i should be careful of them.

Shattered Glass Ops

A Duluth man is facing charges for allegedly selling Methamphetamine. On Monday, July 25th, 2011 Investigators from the Lake Superior Drug and Gang Task Force and Duluth Police Department arrested Richard Klugh, a 50 year old male resident of Duluth, for 2nd Degree Sale of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine.
The arrest came at the conclusion of a five month investigation into Klugh’s involvement in Methamphetamine trafficking and possibly prostitution.  The DEA got a major lead onto Klugh when they incarcerated a fellow partner of Klugh's named Cedric Bester.  On Monday, March 25th, 2010, a search warrant was executed at Klugh’s residence in the 1200 block of West Fourth Street.  A large group of SWAT team members charged the house which started a small shootout between Klugh and the police.  One officer was shot in the shoulder and was in critical condition but the rest of the team surrounded Klugh and he surrendered.   During the search, a quantity of Methamphetamine was located along with two loaded handguns and Heroin paraphernalia.  Klugh has a criminal record in Saint Louis County dating back to 1996 and has prior controlled substance and a aggravated assault conviction with multiple eye witness accounts of prostitution use.  Klugh was charged with 2nd Degree Sale of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine and 3rd Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine with Intent to Sell as well as Felon in Possession of Firearms.

Now Vs. Way Back then

For the past couple weeks we have been learning about all the old forms of media.  There was alot of things i noticed but the main thing i found was that we have it sooooo much easier than back then.  Its so easy for us these days to communicate with every one.  We have cell phones, internet, the internet on our cellphones, and it continues to get more and more easier.  This video kind of shows the time line of media and where the future is headed.
It makes me think how intense the future ways of communication could be.  The growth of technology has gone up exponentially...going from almost taking years to get a letter to someone around the world to   posting a video on line instantly that billions of people around the world can see from your cellular device.  Im guessing ill have mind reading technology by next year.
